New York City Litigation Attorney
Merilda is a litigation attorney at The Law Offices of Deana Balahtsis. She began with the firm as an of counsel and joined as an associate thereafter.
She obtained her Master of Laws degree (LLM) from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a concentration in negotiation and dispute resolution, and a law degree from the Law Faculty “Justinianus Primus”, Skopje, Macedonia.
Before joining Balahtsis law firm, Merilda worked as a Research Fellow at the Heyman Center on Corporate Governance at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
Although her career as a lawyer in the United States has just begun, Merilda is an accomplished practicing lawyer in her native country of Albania where has worked for leading law firms and international companies. She has been a member of the Albanian National Bar Association since 2002.
Merilda speaks Albanian, Macedonian and Italian.
